On 25 November 2023, the 60th anniversary of the Ortisei Folk Dance Group was celebrated at the Congress Centre in Ortisei. The anniversary was celebrated together with the band “Peufla”, which celebrated 30 years of activity.
All members and ex-members of the folk dance group were invited to celebrate in a festive atmosphere. A total of 450 members were personally invited.
At the beginning, the guests were introduced to some dances of the folk dance group, before the music group “Odlesound” entertained the guests with music. This was followed by a review of the past 60 years. Eleonora Schenk, chairwoman of the association, took the lead. At the same time, guests were able to entertain themselves at the lottery, the cake stand or with various games.
From 7 pm, the band “SunSeida” took over the musical accompaniment before the band “Peufla” set the highlight of the evening. The party went on late into the night and the atmosphere showed that even after 60 years, many people are still keen to keep this group and tradition alive.
